Astronauts and UFO’s

Famous Astronauts recount their close encounter with UFO’s.

The United States Military has a policy never to disclose to the public the subject about UFO‘s. They would rather never mention that fact that Military personnel and surveillance equipment routinely encounter UFO’s sightings. Former Astronauts and retired US Military officers feel free to come forward and recount their own personal UFO encounter many years after the fact. Military Encounters With Ufos

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, best known as the second person to set foot on the Moon after Neil Armstrong, has made a surprising account of his encounter with a UFO on the way to the Moon. On July 18, 1969 three days into flight heading toward the Moon, some 200,000 miles out, Mission Control received a call from the Apollo 11 crew asking a surprising question. They asked Huston where was the S-IVB (S4B)? The S-IVB was the final stage of the rocket which had been jettison away 2 days earlier. Aldrin said that at that time no one aboard Apollo 11 wanted to say a UFO was following them for fear that someone other than NASA might be listening to the radio conversation and certain public view might deem this a reason not to send space craft up in space at all, thus killing any hope of future missions of space exploration.

Astronaut Michael Collins tells Aldrin that he can see it through the telescope, describing it sort of shape like an “L”, and rotating. Huston Control called back and stated that the S-IVB was 6,000 miles away from them. Buzz Aldrin knew that was clearly too far away to be the strange object traveling alongside their Apollo 11 space craft. Officially, this UFO encounter never happened and wasn’t mentioned at all until Aldrin omitted it in recent interviews. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin had emphasized that many pilots and a few of his fellow Astronauts have been eyewitness to UFO encounters routinely while on missions.

Astronaut Gordon Cooper (March 6, 1927 – October 4, 2004) has had several UFO encounters in his lifetime. Cooper was one of the original seven astronauts in the Project Mercury space mission in the early 1960’s. His first was in 1951 while flying in Europe for the USAF, Cooper and several other pilots encountered a vast number of UFO’s flying in formation. This is very similar to what American businessman Kenneth Arnold had seen on June 24, 1947 while flying his private plane near Mount Rainer, Washington. He reported seeing nine brilliantly bright objects (crescent shaped UFO’s) flying across the face of Rainier. Cooper said he saw hundreds of craft flying exceedingly high, at a much higher altitude then they could get to. He could see they were incredibly large flying craft, but they were traveling too high and too fast to catch, faster than anything the Air Force had in the 1950’s. "Fortean Times" Book of UFOs, 1947-97

In 1957 Cooper was a project manager at Edward Air Force Base and supervising a flight testing project with a military camera crew when they encountered a UFO. The camera crew were out on the landing strip when they became eyewitness to a UFO landing. They were totally surprised to see a saucer shape object with a tripod landing gear landing near by. The camera crew picked up their equipment and immediately went in for closer look and kept their cameras rolling on the mysterious object. But very quickly the craft lifted up again, silently, retracted it’s landing gear, and accelerated at a very high speed away.

Cooper had the film developed and he reported to his higher levels of command on what was the proper procedure when dealing with this kind of situation. He was soon talking to the Pentagon and was ordered to send it straight away to Washington, DC. and not to run film. A courier arrived thereafter and took the film evidence back to Washington, DC. Cooper never heard anything after that, he did however get a glimpse of the raw reel footage without running the film. He held it up against sunlight in his office to get a look at the thing. The pictures of the saucer craft were dramatic and very detail. He is convinced that no country at that time had anything like that craft. He wasn’t aware of any US Military project or any new technology that could explain it. Cooper firmly believes the US Government knows more about these UFO’s than they are letting on. Movies With Compelling Subjects That Ultimately Failed

Films that should have a compelling message released in 2009 are received in a lackluster way.

Interesting and compelling stories that actually have some basis is truth are being made into films and not taken seriously. Unless, your Steven Spielberg, a famous Director that turns almost every film he’s done into gold at the box office. You have to make the best film you can with the money you have and write a good script that works on many levels. Here is a film that should have been received much better by the discerning public.

Case in point, “The Fourth Kind” starring Milla Jovovich is consider a science fiction-thriller directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi. But the film is suppose to be about a real event that happened in Nome, Alaska. Fully documented by the FBI’s probing of the region for missing people and video sessions from psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler of traumatized patients who claim to have been abducted by aliens. The film mixes real footage with fictional accounts of what happened. The movie is rally scary, compelling, and if true really terrifying. But cinematically the movie has problems.

UFO fans will love this film and people with an open mind will consider the frightening possibilities. But the majority masses and critics have made valid points that the drama scenes, meshing plots of story, interwoven direction leave a less than perfect film. Instead, your watching in essence two films on an important subject of alien abduction phenomenon. Nay Sayers claim its full of clichés geared to believers of UFO’s with alien abduction and lost memories retrieved through hypnosis, and nothing new to chew on. The film is shocking enough about abduction victims but public interest is low on this thought provoking subject and looked upon as old news. That alone is shocking. A mockery of what really happened to the distress people in Alaska who actually had a close encounter of the fourth kind.

The film could have been made into two straight movies, one documentary and one fictional drama based on actual events. But the film gets lost in translation, taking a real story with strange video evidence and mucking it up with actors playing the same, yet fictional scene, in the same movie. The film could have been made and promoted as the darker side of Spielberg's "Close Encounter of The Third Kind" in which people and the US Government make peaceful contact with aliens. A much bigger production compared to "The Fourth Kind" but the film would have faired better if made into dramatization of true events happening in Alaska. The Fourth Kind

Another film on an equally interesting subject matter is “The Men Who Stare At Goats.” Directed by Grant Heslov from an adaptation of the Jon Ronson book of the same name. A reporter (Ewan McGregor) during the Iraq War meets “Psychic soldier" Lyn Cassidy (George Clooney) and discovers a secret U.S. psychic military regiment that uses paranormal skills to find and spy on the enemy. Also starring Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. But the film lacks discipline and focus at times, and never takes itself too seriously. The Men Who Stare At Goats

The film fails at being a satire on a real documented subject about the U.S. military developing psychic spies. Full of good actors in a movie spoofing a real phenomenon known as RV (Remote Viewing). A bit of history about the RV program. The U.S. Government knew in the 1960’s that other major countries like Russia were doing research in using psychics as spies. By the early 1970’s the U.S. military at Stanford Research Institute (now called SRI International) had began serious testing with psychics and their abilities to see beyond time, space, past, present, and future events. RV can see hundreds of mile away at anything above ground, underground, and anywhere on the entire planet with a measure of accuracy. Russia and the U.S. military knew that psychics could kill with a mere “thought” as well. But the film takes a contemptible view at all of this and would rather show a bit of lunacy in it’s depiction of RV.

If the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) NSA (National Security Agency) and DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) believed enough to used scientific protocols to develop and nurture this ability over many years, and discovered that everyone potentially has this power, than a much more serious movie on the subject should have been made. The great American psychic Edgar Cayce had said the same thing over 70 years before that people everywhere have this natural psychic ability. Cayce said that every soul is connected to everything else, the Earth, time, space, all dimensions, other souls, and God, total consciousness, all related, all connected. Nothing is unknown, but rather waiting to be discovered. Nothing is unseen but waiting to be seen.

The Remote Viewing program is a great topic and very true. What’s the ultimate all-seeing and time traveling machine out there that can go anywhere instantaneously? The human consciousness and soul-connection by way of Remote Viewing. The RV program has already proven that it can produce intelligence-collecting results, and can be verified, and be very accurate. You can’t hide from a psychic spy. Telling the truth would have made a much better film.

The Prisoner, on AMC cable TV hit the airwaves in the fall of 2009. The highly anticipated remake of the cult classic 1968 show fails to deliver the goods. The new version lacks the intelligence, wit, psychological, mind-bending, charm of the original. The new show seems lethargic and self absorbed. The problem is the era, today, and not the troubled 1960’s of where society was in conflict with itself and immersed in the Cold War, Government versus State, and young people screaming to fight the system where they saw their freedom being taken away and your reduce to just a number.

The original show was co-created by Patrick McGoohan and George Markstein and starring Patrick McGoohan as a British secret agent who abruptly resigns his job, and then finds himself held captive in a village. Taking first his freedom away and than his name. Given a number and no hope of escape his captors tortured and manipulated him every chance they could to get vital “information” from him. Nothing was more important to the old show than having your individual freedom ripped away and submitting to conformity. It made for good drama and was thought provoking. But no one is rocking the boat today and sadly, the new Prisoner isn’t making a convincing plea either. Better to watch the original show on DVD and learn what it’s really like to lose everything. The Power of Healing Music

Music has the amazing ability to nurture, heal, and inspire us.

Nothing brings people together or gives so much joy than music. Especially during the holidays, spending time and memories with family and friends. Music invokes feelings and memories of good times and bad. But most of all, music heals us in so many ways. The term good vibration is really true when considering music. The rhythm, beat, sound, melody, and mixture of musical instruments and voices singing in harmony. All this has an amazingly positive effect on the human body.

The average person does not have to be proven scientifically that listening to pleasant sounds or music in general, can be a healing, empowering, and uplifting experience. Even the simple sounds of nature, wind and water, can profoundly effect our psyche. The use of music can be a transformative sensation to the mind, body, and soul. Music can bring a universal connection to all people, bridging gaps, generations, understanding, giving hope, and healing. Sound Medicine: Music for Healing

The power of healing music is well documented. Reiki Masters often use music for spiritual healing and in meditation. For thousands of years all culture have embraced the sounds of music to enlighten, inspire, promote a healing power, and bring the people together in songs and sounds. What benefits can music give? Music can reduce stress and anxiety. Music can help lower heart rate, blood pressure, keep you young, and happier than before. Known as music therapy, this healing music is helpful to those suffering any cognitive, physical, psychological, social, and emotional problems. Healing music can produce a positive change and give the individual a sense of well-being, improving health, and comfort. Reiki Chakra Music Attunement

The scientific community has recognized the positive results of music therapy. The American Music Therapy Association formed in 1950 have made standards and procedures to cover how music effects the anatomy, psychology, and physiology of patients. Most importantly music therapy is used in cancer treatments to reduce anxiety, pain, and nausea. Some treatment involves a composition or performing a pre-composed music such as a popular song and singing aloud. Depending on the musical treatment center and patient, “passive” or “receptive” treatments can also be done of listening to enjoyable sounds and optimistic music.

Music therapist use music to enhance the quality of life and health of their patients. Discoveries have shown that music can alter and heal parts of the brain. Stroke patients and people with Parkinson’s disease can actually move and walk better after listening to music. The benefits is for all ages, early exposure to music can have a very positive impact on young people, and help with brain development. So you are never too old for music therapy.

What type of music is good to listen to? The type that makes you feel good inside. Music that enhances your mood and gets your heart pumping. There are many different kinds of music and the choices today are limitless. Choosing sounds and songs that have a connection to the positive universal beat of an emotion, feeling, memory, and our relationships is ideally a good choice. One particular musical band is very popular in treating cancer patients is the Beatles. Originating in the turbulent 1960’s, full of strife and war, disillusion youths found hope and meaning from four guys from Liverpool singing about love and peace. Healing and Relaxing Power of Stress Relief By Meditation Music

Check your local music store or Amazon.com for some of the best healing music to listen to. Here are a few listed artist that really give us a sense of bliss. This list is far from complete, and other great musical artist from around the world should be experienced, and enjoyed just as much.

1. Chant - Music For The Soul

2. Elvis Presley -Ultimate Gospel

3. Beatles -Love

4. Stevie Wonder -The Definitive Collection

5. The Moody Blues -In Search Of The Lost Chord

6. Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole - Facing Future

7. Simon and Garfunkel -Greatest Hits

8. Bing Crosby -White Christmas

9. Karunesh -Call OF The Mystic

What is the real secret of music and it‘s effects? Everything in the known universe resonance and vibrates. This is true for healing energy and music. A higher frequency equates to a loving-peaceful vibration level of existence, in essence music makes us feel good and happy, and that brings us closer to a healthier body and mind, and giving our soul a connection to the natural rhythm of the universal Oneness.

John and Paul

The real dynamic duo. Two music legends from Liverpool make a big impact on the entire world and influenced generations to come.

The Lennon and McCartney songwriting partnership (1958-1969) is the most famous in popular music history. Together they collaborated on nearly 200 songs recorded by the Beatles a blend of rock & roll, blues, folk, and experimental. Each was a very talented song writer (lyricist and composer), in their own right, but in contributing to each other’s songs jointly they equally shared the creation of it, merging musical ideas, and making some of the most memorable, popular, and most covered songs to date.

The Beatles were the biggest band in the world. Their music brought excitement and joy to millions of people, and together as the Beatles (with George Harrison and Ringo Starr) they captured the affection and hearts of the youth and created a musical phenomenon that fascinates fans even today.

Most popular musical bands have a dynamic duo within them. Some have asked who is the best musical duo of all time? This can greatly depend on your own musical knowledge and taste. Some would say the Everyl Brothers, who’s prominence of their melody and harmonizing songs influenced other musicians in the 1960’s. Others might say Simon and Garfunkel, Hall and Oates, Sam and Dave, but the Lennon-McCartney song writing collaboration is still the best.

John and Paul very early in their musical careers agreed to share mutual credit on all their songs. They equally respected and were inspired by one another, mixed with a little healthy competition, but always valued each other’s insight, input, and need to communicate a feeling, a message, an idea, a thought or emotion. In order to do this effectively they needed a total partnership. John Lennon had said that he only had two partners in life, one was Yoko his wife and the other, Paul. John Lennon & Paul McCartney : Their Magic and Their Music (Partners II)

McCartney provided a more optimistic part of a song, while Lennon was more a pessimistic nature, but both could switch gears easily in turn, composing loud, hard edge rock and roll songs to more delicate, loving ballads. Here is a very small list of their best songs together with the Beatles: The Beatles Complete Chord Songbook (Guitar Chord Songbook)

1. A Day In The Life

2. A Hard Day’s Night

3. Let It Be

4. We Can Work It Out

Songs with a bit of an edge to them.

1. Helter Skelter

2. Help!

3. In My Life

4. Revolution

Songs about love, memories, and coming together.

1. Strawberry Fields Forever

2. Yesterday

3. Come Together

4. She Loves You

5. Something -sung and written by Harrison

6. Good Night - sung by Ringo, written by Lennon

The Fab Four were remarkable as individual musicians, but together as the Beatles they were phenomenal. It is not surprising that the Beatles played at Shea stadium which was the first time a rock concert was held in one, hosting to thousands of fans. Granted, there will never be another John, Paul, George, and Ringo again. When the Beatles split in 1970, all four went to pursue successful solo careers. The Lennon and McCartney duo ended and each created their own different body of work in music. Lennon was tragically killed in 1980 and Harrison died of cancer in 2001. The Beatles Anthology

Music enthusiast should take note in acknowledging rock and roll’s most influential and worldwide popular, song writing duo of the later half of the twentieth century. For a sample of Lennon and McCartney’s most outstanding and timeless songs, check your local music store, online stores, Amazon.com, free music sites on the internet, and depending where you are in the world, the Beatles are playing somewhere on a radio station constantly. Many States in America have their own “Breakfast with the Beatles” marathon playing on certain days of the week. In L.A., California, on radio station 95.5 KLOS at 8 AM to 11AM on Sunday mornings, can hear the Beatles’ complete albums and many other rarely heard tracks.

When John and Paul agreed that their positive message is going to be about love, friendship, and understanding, it is no wonder that they found themselves working together, forming a long lasting friendship, and creating beautiful music for all to hear.

The Mayan Mystery

The year 2012 AD and the ancient Mayan calendar.

According to the ancient Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012 marks the end of the Age of Movement and the commencement of a new Earth Age. Many believe this actually predicts the end of time or the end of the world. Some believe no catastrophe will happen at all, but instead the world will begin in a new Age of Enlightenment. 2012: Mayan Prophecy and the Shift of the Ages

The Mayan Civilization is a pre-Columbian society referred to as a Mesoamerican, what we call today Central America. The Mayan resided in parts of Southern Mexico (Yucatan Peninsula) and Central America (Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras). From roughly 2500 BC to 1500 AD the Mayan civilization in Central America ruled the landscape until the Spanish conquest of Central America in the early 16th century. The Mayan were an extraordinary people, they had a fully written language, sophisticated mathematical and astronomical system more advanced than the Romans, Egyptians, and Greeks. The Mayan thrived on the study of the movement of the stars, planets, moon, and sun. They built magnificent cities, huge stone temples, and pyramids. They even built many observatories to which they used to calculate an accurate calendar of time.

The Maya culture was obsessed with time and they created a system of the most accurate calendars ever produced, even more accurate than today’s. The Mayan Long Count Calendar predicts doom by the year 2012. This particular calendar describes that the Milky Way (our galaxy), the stars, the planets within our solar system, and the earth, will be at a “Crossroads” where creation occurs at the “Black Hole.” Scientist with today’s technology has just discovered a massive Black Hole at the center of our galaxy in the Milky Way and doing modern astronomical calculations the stars and planets are going to line up in the direction of this Black Hole.

How could the ancient Mayan have known about this fact without sophisticated technology? The Mayan were using exact calculations. They had a complex system of bakuns, the Mayan measurement of time, that the earth goes in cycles of 13 bakuns or every 5,125 years. Our current age called the Age of Movement began on August 11, 3114 BC, and is set to end on December 21, 2012. This also marks the beginning of the next cycle, a rebirth or resurrection to higher levels. The Mayan Prophecies for 2012

But to the Mayan this also means a great change, not just to the face of the earth, but death and destruction, than a period of rebirth. The next age to follow this one is the “Age of the Return to Oneness.” This could mean a change in global consciousness and a greater awareness with the creative force in the universe. Many prophecies and the Book of Revelation speak of a great change is coming, where all evil will be dispelled, after a apocalyptic cleansing, and a shift in consciousness to higher vibration brings peace and spiritual growth to the whole world.

Some Mayan scholars believe that nothing bad will happen, that humanity will survive, and move into a peaceful era of existence. While others interpret a more dire outcome and that the Mayan somehow knew from their complex calendar that the world would end. Many other cultures and psychic like Nostradamus have predicted that worldwide disaster will be revealed in our time. The Bible Code with the aid of computers have foretold a great cataclysm for the year 2012. The Hopi Prophecy (Native Americans), believe that we are living in the end time of the Fourth World, that the world has been destroyed many times before in the past, and that we are experiencing a time of conflict, war, and heartlessness, and facing a major cataclysm, and in the aftermath, the emergence of the Fifth World will start, promising peace and a reconnection to Oneness.

Weather one wants to believe these prophecies or not, the fact is quite evident that they are now part of our culture and fascination of predictions about our society. The film by director Roland Emmerich “2012” fully illustrates and over-dramatically, shows a writer (John Cusack) trying to save his family from the total worldwide cataclysm that hit’s the planet by 2012. Much like Emmerich’s other films (The Day After Tomorrow) he demonstrates everyone’s fear about the worst possible outcome. The saving grace of this motion picture is the compassionate characters and the hope that the human race will endure and survive. So whatever happens on 2012 all predictions and prophecies clearly state that the earth and it’s people will still be here, and living in a brave new beginning, Q.E.D. (quod erat demonstrandum). 2012

Vibrational Healing Energies

The creation of the universe and our consciousness are connected spiritually as vibrational energy.

Science has proven that all matter and materials consisting of atoms are in a constant state of motion. Energy in motion inside all matter down to the subatomic level. All forms of matter are made of tiny atoms called protons, neutrons, and electrons. Everything is vibrating from inanimate objects to animated objects, from all life, people and even certain locations on the Earth.

Auras are a form of electromagnetic vibrational radiation emanating from a person, object, or location. Everything in the known universe seems to vibrate at a precise vibration. It is believed that all thoughts, actions, color, and sound all have a specific vibration frequency. Even the human body immune system is effected by different degrees in vibration. Dr. Wayne Dyer, author of “There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem”, wrote about that everything is energy and vibration. That aura light is connected to our state of health, emotions, and thoughts. He asserted that anyone with practice can send positive energy to themselves , others, and situations to improve the quality of life.

Can the average person see vibrational energy or the aura itself? Psychics like Edgar Cayce seem to be able to see it with the naked eye. Mediums can sense the negative and positive energy around people and places. But the best way to see an aura today is by Kirlian photography. Kirlian photography, named after the Russian electrician Semon Davidovich Kirlian. Semon Kirlian made the discovery in 1939 but this type of electrical photography was well known to physicists and electrical engineers many years before this. Nikola Tesla also created Kirlian-like photographs 75 years before they became famous.

Nikola Tesla (July 10, 1856 –January 7,1943), an American electrical engineer, physicist, and scientist, was a world-renowned inventor in groundbreaking technological discoveries. Tesla knew that high electrical voltage could produce “aura-like photography” before the 1900‘s. Tesla was an underrated genius who understood high frequency technology and high voltage energy. He was an expert at understanding vibration and resonance. Tesla knew that everything ever existed has a frequency and possesses a unique vibratory rate which resonates with the heart of the universe. Tesla invented all types of oscillating machines including the Tesla Personal Oscillator which was to promote health and well-being, but just before his death, Tesla was working on Photographing Thought. Tesla was greatly aware that the power of thought, vibration, and resonance energy were connected, and could be enhance for constructive purposes. Vibrational Medicine for the 21st Century: A Complete Guide to Energy Healing and Spiritual Transformation

Dr. Deepak Chopra, author of Eastern and Western wisdom, has often spoken of practical and inspiring ways to raise one’s vibrational frequency to a state of love and ecstasy. Letting go of ego and relinquishing the need to control, will create a spiritual awareness of enlightenment full of bliss, love, happiness, and abundance. Meditating and focusing on healing energy opens yourself to others and will benefit everyone. Healing Sound: Vibrational Healing

Vibrational medicine or energy healing is factual on a scientific level. Harmonious flow of energy within the body produces a healthy person and any imbalances creates illness and death. The famous psychic and healer, Edgar Cayce, spoke about seeing auras and understanding their meaning. Two of his books, “Auras: An Essay on the Meaning of Colors“, and “Edgar Cayce on Vibration: Spirit in Motion”, are excellent works on how vibration and auras impact our world.

In conclusion, the study of vibrational energy is an important one because it links our connection to a much higher source. The vibrational creative force in the universe is both true in physics as it is true in the spiritual sense. To regenerate, heal, and reconnect to the true vibration of the universe. To understand other dimensional planes of existence that vibrate at different frequencies, and to fully comprehend the nature of all things in relation to each other. We are vibrating energy souls in a vibrating co-creating universe. Our world is not solid but thoughts only solidified. Creation is happening every millisecond and the best possible force we can benefit from is of course the most positive creative force of all: love.

Close Encounter of the Fourth Kind

Close encounters of the fourth kind and the different types of this strange phenomenon.

Everyone is aware of the now classic 1977 film “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, written and directed by Steven Spielberg. The film is about one man’s (Richard Dreyfuss) obsession after seeing a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) and determine to meet the extraterrestrials despite the government’s efforts to hide the fact that a landing is going to take place, making this the “first contact” encounter with peaceful beings.

But the public views on aliens have shifted over the years due to the recent reports coming in since 1980. UFO’s sightings are frequently reported worldwide. But reported encounters with aliens have turned into a much more darker and sinister tone. Either abduction cases have increased over the years or more people are simply reporting them, less fearful of ridicule than they were before. The newest film to address the issue is “The Fourth Kind”. Starring Milla Jovovich in a fact-based thriller about a psychologist investigating why an entire Alaskan town is besieged by strange alien-like visitors and unexplained disappearances. The real psychologist, Dr. Abigail Tyler, when dealing with traumatized patients would videotape the sessions, and the disturbing footage is integrated into the film revealing good evidence that something supernatural is happening here.

Weather one wants to believe in alien abduction as a real phenomenon or simply people having mass hysterics, the fact still remains that people are missing and survivors report the same terrifying M.O. ( modus operandi or method of operating) when encountering these aliens even breaking into their own homes and walking through walls. These type of creatures seem to be a common theme dating back thousands of years of similar reported cases.

Another compelling fact is that the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) has reported that recently over the years that over 800,000 missing cases of people exist and that the number is steadily increasing each year. The FBI claims that up to 60% can be explained away by crime activity, but that the remainder is totally unsolved. The FBI has been at least impartially involved in UFO investigations since the 1940’s and animal mutilations (this phenomenon is associated with UFO’s and is still happening today) which were first reported during the late 1970's, but the FBI’s early inquiry into the subject of UFO’s was stalled by the CIA and US military, to this day the FBI will not openly emit that the alien abduction phenomenon is real.

The United States government was very interested in UFO’s, especially the military and intelligence gathering agencies. Dr. J. Allen Hynek was an American astronomer and UFO researcher. He was working with the US Air Force involving UFO investigation starting back in 1948 on “Project Sign”. Other study groups like “Project Grudge” and “Project Blue Book”, all had Hynek as a leading investigator. Dr. Hynek is credited for developing in 1972 the classification term we use today for encountering UFO’s.

1. Close Encounter of the First Kind, a ground or aerial sighting, seeing objects in the sky, either odd lights or metallic objects flying beyond human technology.

2. Close Encounter of the Second Kind, physical evidence, deep impression in ground or soil, crop circles, radio signals blocked, and anything resembling physical damage to people or land due to exposure to high doses of radiation.

3. Close Encounter of the Third Kind, actually observing alien entities within or outside their craft and meeting them. The Steven Spielberg film is an entertaining and admirable attempt to show what happens when the government and local citizens encounter UFO occupants up close, making “first contact” in a friendly way.

4. Close Encounter of the Fourth Kind, this was added in later by other Ufologist who soon realized the growing rate of this type of encounter. Numerous case studies involving alien abduction where people encountered UFO’s and their occupants would be taken aboard the alien craft and forced medical examinations.

Ever since the Betty and Barney Hill abduction case psychologist have tried to understand this disturbing experience when encountering UFO’s. Ufologist like Budd Hopkins (who wrote “Intruders” in 1987) and Dr. Leo Sprinkle have done extensive research in UFO contactee and abductee cases. The difference is a contactee is meeting benign aliens who seem to have a spiritual message to give and an abductee is more a victim, taken against their will, and deeply traumatized. Well known author, Whitney Schreiber, wrote about his personal experiences involving alien abduction in his book “Communion“ which was made into a film starring Christopher Walken.

Many abduction cases also involve the victims suffering from mysterious bruises, needle marks, scars, nightmares, frequent nose bleeds, missing time, a memory of looking at something that is really a different object, and deterioration of health. This is very real and fully documented. Who believes in this type of phenomenon? Psychotherapist, Ufologist, hypnotherapist, medical doctors, scientist, and of course the victims do. But the simple question is why? What purpose does it serve? Why is it happening? Who benefits? The Alaskan case which “The Fourth Kind” film is based on has since the 1960’s unexplained disappearances of people in that area. One should be open-minded to unheard of possibilities and ask the question: has this been going on throughout human history?

Alien Abduction Phenomenon

For thousands of years people have claimed of seeing strange creatures appearing from thin air and abducting victims.

This strange and frightening phenomenon is associated with people encountering UFO’s. Accounts from every country and culture around the globe have reported similar cases of people abducted by alien beings. Many skeptics would say all these reports are nothing more than mass hysteria. That the people reporting these encounters are merely hallucinating and suffering from some unknown, mental instability. But this particular phenomenon even goes back to Biblical times, involving angels and demon-like creatures capturing unsuspecting inhabitance. Even further in history shows them to be more “God-like” in nature, visiting peacefully and imparting wisdom to cultures dating back nearly 10,000 years ago. The Bible, Physics, and the Abilities of Fallen Angels: The Alien Abduction Phenomenon
What was the earliest reported case of alien abduction in out time? One of the very first known cases was Villas Boas, a Brazilian farmer, who reported being abducted in 1957. He claimed in quite detail that the aliens took him, performed medical examination, and made him have sex with a female humanoid creature. This type of abduction would later be more common in our time involving women reporting that they were abducted, forced to have sex, their eggs taken, and that medical test were done by aliens for some kind of cross-breeding purposes.

Before alien abduction became mainstream in our present society as a sort of running joke associated with UFO’s and aliens, the media and non-believers, have accepted the fact that numerous eyewitnesses are simply mistaken about what they actually saw. The second most compelling abduction case soon came to light a few years after the Boas’ case. During the 1960’s the term “alien abduction” really gain attention with the famous Betty and Barney Hill case in 1961. The Hills were returning home late at night when they encountered a UFO that was following their car. The Hills remembered stopping their car, they observed the UFO landing, they notice aliens from afar outside the saucer shape craft, they tried to get away, and than suffered a memory loss as they came home that evening. The Hills lived in New Hampshire and days later felt their memories of that night were fragmented and incomplete. Betty complained of strange dreams and both were tormented by buzzing sounds associated with their memories of encountering the UFO. They sought counseling by several psychotherapist like Dr. Benjamin Simon. After hypnotizing the Hills to recall that night, Dr. Simon noted that Barney suffered a much more traumatic experience than Betty. The Hills remembered being taken inside the alien craft, separated for medical examination, and then released. In 1975 an excellent TV movie starring James Earl Jones and Estelle Parson, retold the story of the Hills Abduction case.
The Travis Walton case on November 5, 1975 was more alarming. Walton and six other American loggers encountered a UFO in the forest region of Arizona. Walton went in for a closer look at the hovering disc-shape craft and was struck down by a light-beam. Panic stricken, the others fled and reported Walton missing to the police. A massive man-hunt ensued by the police and found nothing. Six days later Walton returned suffering memory loss. A psychiatrist using hypnosis discovered that Walton recalls the aliens took him aboard their space craft. Small grey aliens tried to examined him and feeling threaten, Walton resisted, the film “Fire in the Sky”, made in 1993, illustrates Walton’s fear up to that point, but fails to tell the rest of his story about encountering human-like people also on the alien craft.
Dr. Carl Sagan, astronomer and author, consultant and adviser to NASA, his award-winning 1980 TV series “Cosmos” helped popularized planetary exploration, life in the cosmos, astrophysics, science education, and government regulation of science and the environment. Sagan was known as a skeptic of UFO sightings for lack of definitive proof. He had heard the Hills abduction case and seen the Betty Hill star map she drew from memory of Zeta Reticuli as being a “random chance” of star points. UFO Abductions - A Global Phenomenon [VHS]
But he did propose a theory that the notion of ancient “demon abductions” reported throughout history was very similar to modern day alien abductions, walking through walls, sexual abuse, and medical experiments on hapless humans. Before his death in 1996, a colleague of Sagan asked him to rethink his skeptic views on UFO’s and close encounters. Sagan agreed, he researched and didn’t realize that the amount of data regarding UFO’s and alien abduction cases were not only prevalent today, but not entirely unpersuasive, that there might be some truth about UFO’s, and alien beings visiting our planet.
