After 12-12-12

Dec. 12, 2012 came and went. A pivotal point in history for it will not happen again for long time. This date is the last triple-digit date alignment until Jan. 1, 2101. Twelve is the number of what is completed, which forms a whole, a perfect and harmonious unit. A significant date to some promoting a change coming soon that equates a peaceful transition. The date 12-12-12 holds mystical and supernatural powers as well as full of energy. Twelve is the symbol of material and spiritual that also represents the manifestation of the Trinity to the four corners of the horizon.
Twelve also is of divine power, rule, and authority. It means joined, united, oversight; government is the means by which people are united into common purposes and goals. A magical time/number to come together and make a difference in the world by spreading encouragement for the pursuit of happiness to all. An excellent time to promote friendships and bring bonds closer with shared ideas and goals for a bright future. Enjoy this great moment in time and history, and keep thinking positive for a better tomorrow - T.S.Garp

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! As the night clouds close in blocking out the shinning of the moon, even the stars are barely visible as the bewitching hour’s approaches. You travel along the wooded dark path and hear the sound of the dead coming back to life to terrorize the local town and cities. Thunder roars, a flash of lightening blinds you, and the night wind envelopes you with a blood curling chill to the bone. *Read more on Halloween Night.

Doctor Who in New York

This article of mine was written months ago and for lack of a better word was lost in the shuffle, but good news is that it was published online before the Doctor transports himself and company to the streets of New York City. This episode was filmed months back as the dashing Doctor prepares to say good-bye to his long-time companions and soon meets another one.
Be sure to read Doctor Who Takes Manhattan. Doctor Who gains momentum as global appeal increases and happily invades American television.

ENDEAVOUR'S LAST JOURNEY

I know I have been away for a very long time. But keeping up with today's news in the New York Times or rather a week ago, I am intrigued by the fly-byes of the last of the space shuttles. The Endeavour space shuttle buzzed over LA and San Fransisco flying low enough for everyone to see. A completely awestruck once in a lifetime experience to behold. Later, after safety landing at LAX, the shuttle will stay a few weeks there before making its final journey over the streets of Los Angeles as it travels to its new home at the California Science Center.

Astronaut Neil Armstrong, RIP

First man to walk on the Moon has died. Astronaut Neil Armstrong past away on Saturday. He was 82. Very sad news. I can remember growing up how I always wanted to be an astronaut and venture into outer space. Watching shows like Star Trek and watching the NASA space shuttles launch into orbit to a waiting space station. Many people are still longing for that pristine future presented in the 1968 classic sci-fi film titled 2001: A Space Odyssey. Yes, we all wanted that remarkable futuristic world with moon bases, huge circular space stations, and brave astronauts leading the way to other planets like Venus, Mars, and beyond. So thanks Neil Armstrong for making a giant leap for mankind and showing the world that it is possible to walk on another planetoid. Thanks for leading the way. He is truly an inspiration. God speed.

The Traveller Returns

I have been away on holiday on an adventure of excitement and relaxation. Glad to be back and ready to face whatever’s ahead. New projects and new goals are all in the forefront. This year’s summer seems a lot hotter than last year’s and though I am enjoying the summer blaze, I do look forward to the coming of Fall weather, the cooling down, the rain, the wind, and all the coming celebrations of Halloween, Thanksgiving , and Christmas! I shall be updating all web sites soon. Peace to all readers, writers, artist, and creators out there. May you find what your looking for on your many travels. *Like all great travellers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen - Benjamin Disraeli *The journey is the moment, the path unknown, memories that fill a lifetime, have shown more - T.S.Garp

The Sea Summer Chronicles

Start your day serenely! It's never to late to embrace a new day and start again - Toci, Toltec Wisdom * With those positive words I begin to reflect on the joy of another summer and as the temperature rises thoughts of beachcombing for seashells, swimming, spending time with family and friends, more barbecues, summer movies, music, and trips, all of which I‘m looking forward to. I must admit upon reflection I need to start meditating again, keep my mental focus, and remain upbeat each and every day. Generally speaking, life is good in the big scheme of things, I’m very happy my e-books are done and should be available as I speak. The writing and creating process can be a long road to undertake.
However, life is full of surprises and often than not will put up a few curves here and there about something, life brings opportunity and challenges (keeps things interesting), which is needed for personal growth, but I relent that it really shows us how determine we are in the face of any adversity. We have to maintain our long-term goals, try to create the future that we need, and want. We need to also listen to the wind and the heart of wisdom. Having the vision to create what was not there before and the drive needed for the direction or canvas you hope to see is exactly why you should never let dreams fade away.
We must remember that we are on a journey with other souls too (family and friends) and I greatly want everyone enjoying the life of a “shared-experience” that is on a similar path. This Summer is that goal and well beyond into Autumn-Winter for 2012. Despite the hard economy and “slow-periods” in anything in our lives, we should instead enjoy even the least bit of paradise that is presented to us from the ultimate divine source to our happiness. Let it in and let the universe, God, and the your super-conscious mind work its magic for your happiness. It is never too late to start embracing everything and everyone. * Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming. ~ John Wooden

Ray Bradbury dies at 91.

Ray Bradbury dies at 91. A wonderful writer, a true visionary who could spin tales so full of imagination and brilliance. A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize award for lifetime work in fantasy and science fiction literature. His numerous short stories, novels, and screenplays are superb. He joins the list of my favorite writers who have passed on and helped made the world a more interesting place like Robert A. Heinlein, Author C. Clarke, and Isaac Asimov. Read The Washington Post news article on Bradbury's life.

A Lot of Shake'n Going On

California hit by small earthquake near Malibu the day before yesterday, 4.0, no damage. Italy is suffering with two quakes, the first ten days ago of 6.0 and another the day before yesterday, 5.8 magnitude earthquake. A 6.1 magnitude struck off the coast of northeastern Japan about just over a week ago. I hope this is not a growing trend.

R.I.P. Donna Summer

Donna Summer, American singer-songwriter, five-time Grammy Award winner, and legendary disco queen past away due to lung cancer on May 17th, 2012 at the age of 63. My heart is sad at this breaking news. I absolutely love her voice and her music. One of my all-time favorite Donna Summer songs is I Feel Love from 1977. She will be deeply missed and I’m thankful her music will live on, and the memory of her will never die.
Another disco era legend has lost his battle over cancer. Robin Gibb, British singer and songwriter dies at 62 on May 20, 2012. Gibb is most remembered as one of the Bee Gees with his twin brother Maurice and older brother Barry. A terrible lost and another blow to his family. Robin Gibb was one of five children, younger brother Andy Gibb, a very popular solo singer in the 1980s died in 1988. Maurice Gibb past away in 2003. Gibb is survived by older brother Barry and sister Lesley. I remember how the Bee Gees became even more famous and popular when they provide the soundtrack for the highly successful film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta in 1977. Fans around the world are mourning the lost and grateful that both musical artist has left us with unforgettable music to enjoy and brighten our lives for years to come. Our prays and thoughts are with Donna Summer’s and Robin Gibb’s family. I sincerely hope and wish the medical establishment would release a real mandatory cancer cure to end this dreaded disease.

Always Continue The Climb

Had a great time during Earth Day celebration. I just completed a 20 mile trail run surrounded by nature, mountains, and trees! Met awesome people!
Ayn Rand, philosopher & playwrighter, said “a creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others,” and that is true for me too as I am motivated to always continue the climb, always have the desire to learn and achieve, always do your best, always live for the joy and experience of it. Believe in yourself and you are already half way there!
