Believing is the Key

Faith will take you there. You must believe in yourself and in the journey that will ultimately take you to where you want to go. Let the waters part, let the obstacles past, let the love in, let the will through, and know in your heart that this is true for you. Sooner or later you will discover your true path, if you fall, no matter, get back up and try again, no two journeys are ever quite the same, for each person the journey is slightly different, for some it seems easy while for others its seems harder, nevertheless, by focusing on the what’s true in the mind, heart, and soul, it will be worthwhile in the end.

Dreams Encourage Us

Everyone has a dream. There is nothing like having a dream to create your future or the future you want to see. To dream is a splendid thing to ponder on the world during the day and night, and envision something not quite there yet, and suddenly mastering it, opening up the mysteries that held in secret for so long. Mastering your dreams and translating them into reality is like an artist breathing life onto a blank canvas, true creation into being.

Dreams and imagination set the foundation of our lives, opening the door beyond the mystery, without it we lack originality, becoming mundane and too rigid. By using the unstoppable force of our own faith with dreams can we create all that was thought of before as impossible into the possible. Keep dreaming and never stop.

Good Days

In our natural state of mind is a peaceful mind. Upon awaking we are as one with the world and know that means a state natural bliss. We must put aside worry and stress, chaos from others, and be open to the reality that all is not lost, but merely in a state of flux, a transition of events filled with emotions, desires, dreams, and our own pursuit of happiness. Through our thoughts we create our world, our state of being, our state of health, and who we are. Let the joy show through, dispels fears and doubts, embrace family, long-distant friends, and believe that every day is going to be a good day - T.S.Garp

Summer Rituals

Summer Rituals Watching them trek across the sand Hot underfoot from grains sparkling like tiny glass Seeking and venturing new places to dwell Planting a symbolic flag of right Settling in an open house without walls Lingering for just a minute before running Toward the blue crystalline massive pool of water Cooling themselves from the summer heat ‭Repeating this many times‭ As the ladies watch from the shore tanning themselves* An excerpt from my book Serenity’s Dream - T.S.Garp © http://www.tsgarpbooks.com/blog/

R.I.P. Roger Ebert.

On April 4th 2013 the world said good-bye to Roger Ebert. Most famous as a film critic for the Chicago Sun-Times since 1967. Ebert was an American journalist, film critic, and screenwriter. In 1975, he was the first film critic to win the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. I can remember Roger Ebert in my youth watching him on the PBS show Sneak Previews with critic Gene Siskel, both helped popularized the televised film reviewing. Their trademark thumbs up or thumbs down could make or break a movie. Ebert co-wrote the screenplay for the 1970 cult classic Russ Meyer film “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls” Roger Ebert was highly regarded as a film critic for his grace and respected opinions. R.I.P. Roger Ebert. We will miss you.
